Pinea lives among old pine trees. These few simple rules keep it calm, clean and safe for everyone who stays here, and for the forest itself.

A few simple rules

Nothing here is complicated. Most of it comes down to treating the land the way you would treat a friend's garden.

Bungalows & Pool
- Children under 16 may use the pool only with a parent who is renting a bungalow.
- Please shower before swimming.
- Respect the quiet forest hours.

Clean & Safe
- Use the bins and recycle properly.
- Leave no food scraps outdoors.
- Do not feed animals. Pinea has no animals.

Respect Nature
- Do not cut or damage the trees.
- Stay on the marked paths.
- Use the hooks provided, never the tree trunks.

Fire Safety
- No open flames outside the safe zones.
- Barbecue only in the approved areas.
- Report any hazard to our staff.

Pine Therapy
- Practise pine tree breathing: a slow inhale, relax, and let the stress go.
- Join one of our guided relaxation sessions.

Sustainability
- Reuse your towels and linens.
- Join our eco-programmes: tree planting and forest walks.
- Live in harmony with the forest.

Deir el Qalaa
At the entrance of Beit Mery, 800 metres up, the monastery of Saint John the Baptist was built in 1750 on the ruins of a first-century Roman temple, the third largest in Lebanon after Baalbek and Niha. The site is open to the public.
